State Large Group Speech Competition
February 4th @ Dubuque Sr. High School in Dubuque
State Contest Information will be posted soon. This includes rules, expectations, and leaving times.

Also, Mark Your Calendars. West High will be holding AN EVENING OF THEATRE at West on
JANUARY 31st @ 6:30 p.m. This will be located in the Auditorium and the Little Theatre.
This EVENING OF THEATRE will showcase all Large Group Speech Events that performed at Districts. Please invite your friends and family to this wonderful evening.
$5.00 per person at the door

Performance Etiquette
1. Please refrain from talking (even whispering) during a performance.
2. Please turn off or silence all pagers, cell phones, and watch alarms prior to the performance.
3. Please refrain from waving to your child/friend during a performance as it can be distracting.
4. Please refrain from using videotaping or photographing a performance.
5. Applaud at the conclusion of the performance.
6. Do not leave as soon as your child’s performance is completed. Instead, leave once the door to the performance space has been opened.
7. Do not leave while a performance is in progress.
8. Arrive at the performance with a positive attitude. After all, your child is sensitive to your attitude towards his/her performance.
